Monthly Cash Assistance : Osun Workers Receive Alerts As Gov Adeleke Restates Commitment To Their Welfare

In line with Governor  Ademola Adeleke’s promise to  workers and pensioners in the state,  they have begun to receive alerts notifying them  that the N15,000  and N10,000   monthly ‘cash assistance’ respectively have been credited to their respective bank accounts, the governor’s Special Adviser, Mallam Olawale Rasheed submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Friday.

Recall that Governor  Ademola Adeleke had two weeks ago announced the cash assistance for the workers and retirees to ease things for them sequel to the  removal of petrol  subsidy and its concomitant economic hardships.

‘Serving state workers were awarded Fifteen Thousand Naira while Ten Thousand Naira was announced for the retirees.

Workers and pensioners are to enjoy the wage award for six months starting from  December 2023 to June 2024.

As at this morning, the beneficiaries are already receiving alerts, prompting  jubilation among the working population.

It would be recalled that the state government had also paid the December 2023 salaries while almost Three Billion Naira bond was issued  to pensioners at a recent ceremony at the state secretariat’ the statement said.

 Governor Adeleke has also restated his commitment to the welfare of  workers in the state,  while promising to ensure that no stone is left unturned with regard to enhancing the wellbeing of retirees and those who are in employment in the state.

‘I wish to restate my deep passion and commitment to the wellbeing of our people. I know the close link between the formal and informal workforce in Osun state, so our administration will always work for the workers and the greater interest of our people’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com
