Osun : Civil Defence Officer Found Dead In Well 5 Days After Going Missing… 2 Suspects Arrested
A Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officer , Mr. Sodiq, who had gone missing for 5 days , has been reportedly found dead in a well in Ido Osun , Osun state.
Mr Sodiq , who was attached to the Lagos state command, had however ensured that he visited his residence in Aduramigba area of Ido Osun regularly to look into the welfare of his family.
He had reportedly arrived in the town a few days ago and would have as usual left after spending like 2 days in the town but his whereabouts had suddenly become unknown..
He was last seen on March 10, 2024..
Worried family members ,neighbours and friends had consequently embarked on a search mission and they had done this for five days before a resident of the area opened one of the wells and was shocked to discover Sodiq’s decomposing body , a development that made him raise the alarm.
It was also gathered that Sodiq’s mobile phone was retrieved from someone who was immediately arrested while a total of 2 suspects have since been arrested in connection with what may eventually turn to be a murder case.
