My ‘Devt Agenda’’ll Make Yaba LCDA Become ‘Yaba Tuntun’-Bayo Adefuye

Chairman-elect of Yaba LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Bayo Adefuye, has promised to transform the LCDA and make it become ‘Yaba Tuntun’ (New Yaba) on his watch.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Hon. Bayo Adefuye, who said this after receiving his certificate of return at the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) headquarters, also promised to be religiously committed to his development agenda.

Adefuye noted that he will prioritize Infrastructure development by constructing roads with good aesthetics while also exploring Yaba’s tourism potential.

The Makoko Day festival, he noted, would be made to become an international event.

He also listed what would be his ‘area of focus’ to include youth development, security and agriculture,

‘Economic Empowerment: Providing skill acquisition training and equipment for the poorest of the poor, and offering quick non-interest loans to market men and women.

Security: Enhancing security in Yaba through community policing and provision of communication gadgets to security forces and youths.

Education: Investing in education to ensure that children have access to free education.  We will also work on vulnerable children to ensure that they attend school.

Healthcare: Providing well-equipped health facilities with free medical services.

Agriculture: Investing in agriculture to ensure affordable food for all.

 Youth Development: Creating job opportunities for graduates, investing in sports, and supporting sport enthusiasts and practitioners.

 Tourism and Investment: Developing Yaba into a tourist destination with good infrastructure and ambiance to attract investors’ he said.

Hon Adebayo Adefuye, is from the Adefuye political family being the son of Chief Anthony Adefuye, a former senator and a statesman.

 The Yaba LCDA boss, who is a politician and a businessman with 25 years of experience in the construction industry, served as Sole Administrator of Yaba LCDA before getting elected as Chairman of the LCDA.
