I’m Seeking 4th Term Because My People Still Want Me As Their President-Alassane Ouattara
President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara has announced his decision to seek a 4th term and stand as a presidential candidate in the presidential election scheduled to hold in the country on October 25, 2025.
He was officially nominated by the ruling party, the Rally of Houphouetists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) a few days ago.
83-year-old Alassane Ouattara, who became the nation’s president in 2011, and won a 3rd term in 2020, announced that he would be seeking a 4th term on Tuesday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he has also given reasons for taking the decision to retain his position in October this year.
‘For several months, I have received numerous calls from fellow citizens regarding my potential candidacy in the presidential election.
Women and young people from all regions of Cote d’Ivoire, and countless anonymous voices from our neighbourhoods, towns, and villages have reached out.
