Finance Minister Feeling Unwell But Not In Critical Condition-Presidency

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, is feeling unwell but not in a critical condition, the minister is at his Abuja residence and he is recuperating well, the presidency submitted on Sunday.

The presidency also noted that President Bola Tinubu is not planning to replace Mr Wale Edun as Minister of Finance.

The presidency’s reaction was sequel to media reports claiming that President Tinubu is planning to replace the minister because he is critically ill.

The presidency had earlier confirmed that Edun would not be attending this year’s World Bank and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C., adding that the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, would be leading the country’s delegation.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, who confirmed this on Sunday, added that the minister is receiving medical attention in the country.
