Kwankwaso Visiting Obasanjo At Kano’s ‘Temporary Residence’ Raises Interesting Questions
Former governor of Kano State, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who is the NDC vice presidential candidate, visited former president Olusegun Obasanjo at his ‘temporary residence’ in Kano on Thursday night.
An official of Kwankwasiyyah Development Foundation, Hon Saifullahi Hassan in a Facebook post noted that the former Defence minister and a one-time governor of Kano State, visited Chief Olusegun Obasanjo at his ‘temporary residence’ in Kano while also making pictures taken during the visit available.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that this had since raised intriguing questions as not many Nigerians were aware that the former president has a house in the Northwest state.
It has made people raise questions that centered on who oversees the unoccupied and rarely visited property and who pays for the maintenance? It has also brought to people’s consciousness the issue of acquisition of unneeded wealth.
Some however said Hon Saifullahi Hassan may have used ‘temporary residence’ with the intention of saying ‘temporary accommodation’ which means that the building may not belong to the former president.
