Transport Company Sent Packing From Transport Terminal 2 Days After Public Declaration Of Support For Gombe PDP Guber Candidate

Gombe State Government has ordered a transport company, Gombawa Motors Nigeria Limited to leave the government–owned transport terminal called ‘Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Mega Park’ with immediate effect.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the affected transport company was given 24 hours to leave the transport terminal and this had come barely two days after public declaration of support for Professor Isa Pantami’s candidacy by Gombawa Motors Ltd.

Pantami is Gombe State PDP governorship candidate.

In the expulsion letter which was dated June 25, 2026, and signed by the Managing Director of Principal Facilities Management Limited, the firm managing the Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Mega Park, Mayo Ani, it was noted that the decision in question was taken by the Mega Park Management Committee.

Gombawa Motors Ltd was accused of allegedly breaching the park’s operational rules on several occasions, and failing to comply with directives issued by the management.

This, Mayo Ani noted, had resulted in complaints by other transport operators at the terminal.

.

Secretary, Gombawa Motors Ltd , Mr Muhammad Umar, has however raised allegations of political victimization while adding that the company has not been given a fair hearing.

‘The expulsion came shortly after the company openly identified with Professor Isa Ali Pantami. The timing raises legitimate concerns over political interference.

The notice failed to clearly specify the alleged violations. Support for any political figure is a constitutional right protected under Nigerian law.

This action raises constitutional concerns regarding freedom of association and the right to fair hearing. A major private transport operator should not be removed without due process and clearly established procedures’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
