Yinka Qadri Breaks Down In Tears At Ogogo’s Burial In Ilaro As Actor Ijebu Reevaluates His Life, Asks For Everyone’s Forgiveness
Nollywood stars, family, and fans gathered in Ilaro, Ogun State, on Monday, August 24, 2026, to pay their final respects to Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, a veteran actor, who died on Sunday at the age of 66.
A-list actors in attendance at Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ground where janazah (Islamic funeral prayer) was held for him include Mr Yinka Qadri, Prince Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule, Saheed Balogun, Fatiha Balogun, Fausat Balogun, Femi Adebayo, and Ebun Oloyede.
Mr Taiwo Hassan, who is popularly called Ogogo, died on Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Yinka Quadri broke down in tears at the burial of Ogogo on Monday.
This is understandable because the two actors shared a profound, multi-decade history building the Yoruba film industry together as confidants, collaborators, and closest brothers.
In the meanwhile, Ogogo’s death has made a popular actor, Amokade Olatayo aka Ijebu reevaluate his life and ask for everyone’s forgiveness while submitting that ‘life is too short’.

My heart is so heavy. I’m making this video to make peace with everyone in order to reduce the burden on my heart. And I’m also here to tell everyone who has offended me that I have forgiven you.
