New Year: Kwara PDP Reps Candidate, Ibrahim Ajia, Congratulates Nigerians, Sends Message of Hope, Possibility
Asa/Ilorin West PDP reps candidate, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, has congratulated Nigerians on the successful transition into the New Year, 2023, urging them to get their PVCs ready in order to participate actively in the 2023 general election.
Hon Ajia in a statement issued in Ilorin on Sunday, 1st of January 2023 and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media team noted that Nigerians deserve better than what they had gotten from the current leaders.
‘I send my special greetings to families, friends and every Nigerian that has been fortunate to witness the New Year, 2023.
As we enter the New Year, let us continue to work towards rebuilding our economy, securing our country as well as protecting Nigeria’s democracy’ the statement said.
Ajia also advised Nigerians to get their PVCs ready and participate actively in the process of rescuing Nigeria from what he called bad governance in the upcoming elections, submitting that ‘there is no gainsaying that the citizens deserve better than what they had gotten from the current leaders’.
He added that 2022 was a ‘survival year’ for every Nigerian, due to the failure of government to address several challenges confronting the nation which had further made lives more difficult for the people.
Ajia, who is the Founder of MAI Foundation, emphasized the need to come together to overcome the challenges the nation had faced, adding that getting out of it has become a collective responsibility.
The Ilorin-born politician restated his commitment to people’s welfare, while pledging to continue to strive for the well-being of Kwarans and more importantly his constituents in Asa and Ilorin West Local Governments.
The PDP House of Reps candidate noted that ‘it is important to support the PDP’ in her efforts to salvage the country from APC government and reposition the country on the path of growth and development as Nigerians look forward to the coming elections.
‘Our Party, the PDP has put forward credible candidates with the needed experiences and expertise to revive the country’s economy’ he submitted.
Ajia commended Nigerians for their patriotism and perseverance inspite of the several challenges they had faced, saying ‘It can only get better with time and through prayers’.
He therefore prayed that year 2023 would be prosperous for Nigerians, expressing confidence that the New Year would present hope and possibilities ‘through the emergence of leaders that the citizens can be proud of’- Team@orientactualmags.com
