Abdulrazaq Administration Friendly, Accommodating … We’ll Support All APC Candidates-Miyetti Allah
Leaders of Hausa and Fulani people in the Kwara South Senatorial District on Sunday denied rumours claiming that some of their kinsmen have defected to the PDP.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday noted that Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed, who is the head of Miyetti Allah in Kwara South, disclosed this during the meeting held with Ekiti/ Isin/ Irepodun / Oke-Ero APC reps candidate , Tunji Olawuyi in Ajase-Ipo.
Alhaji Muhammed ,who spoke on behalf of the group, told the federal lawmaker to deliver their message to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, noting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has had more impact on them than the former ruling parties.
He said the rumour that some of their kinsmen had defected to the PDP ‘is an imagination of those peddling such rumours’.
Muhammed assured the federal lawmaker of the support of the group ahead of the elections scheduled to hold on February 25 and March 11.
He commended the Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration, which he described as friendly and accommodating.
He also said no administration in Kwara state has had meaningful impact on them like that of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Responding, Rep Tunji Olawuyi, thanked members of the group, for supporting the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration.
Olawuyi, who is the chairman, House Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness, described the governor as a man of the masses, submitting that he must therefore be allowed to continue with his good works in the state.
The federal lawmaker commended and thanked them for ensuring peaceful coexistence and having excellent relationship with indigenes of the towns and villages where they live while urging them to continue to be peaceful.
He assured them of more dividends of democracy, adding that Gov. AbdulRazaq ‘is seriously interested in their welfare just like other residents and citizens of the state’ – Team@orientactualmags.com
