Adewale Egbedun Emerges As New Osun Speaker

The eighth Osun state House of Assembly   was convened on Tuesday morning with the new lawmakers electing Hon Adewale Egbedun as head of the state legislature.

Upwardly mobile Egbedun , who represents Odo-Otin state Constituency, is a young businessman and he is 38 years old.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned  Hon Egbedun was nominated by Hon Waheed Abiola Ibrahim while the nomination was seconded by Hon Areoye Samuel.

The youngest person to have served as Speaker of the state House of Assembly was
Hon Adewale Afolabi , who became the head of the state legislature at 33. He served as Speaker during the Isiaka Adeleke administration.

Professor Majeed Alabi had later become the Speaker of the state House of Assembly   at the age of 37.

Suave and sophisticated ,Hon Adewale Egbedun, is the sixth Speaker of the state House of Assembly and his predecessors are; Hon Adewale Afolabi, Prof Mojeed Alabi, Hon Adejare Bello , Hon Najeem Salaam and Hon Timothy Owoeye .
