Akile Oduduwa’s Assertion In Facebook Post Untrue, Gov Adeleke’s Support For Ganiyu Olaoluwa’s Senate Bid ‘Total’, ‘Intact’

The media office of Osun Central Accord Party senate candidate, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa has described as untrue the assertion made by a faceless Facebook account user, ‘Akile Oduduwa’ that Governor Ademola Adeleke has withdrawn his support for his party’s senate candidate (Olaoluwa) and declared support for the APM candidate, Mr Ibrahim Adekunle.

The media office in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday asserted that Governor Ademola Adeleke’s support for Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa’s 2027 senate bid is ‘total’ and intact.

The statement also asserted that Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, who is popularly called Asejere, remains the most popular senate candidate in the senatorial district with his supporters in upbeat mood while the voters are looking forward to the Election Day to massively cast their votes for him.

‘Significantly, on October 15, 2026, Governor Adeleke inaugurated the Asejere Campaign Council at Adebimpe Event Centre, Osogbo, demonstrating the importance attached to the campaign’s organized mobilization efforts and its mission to secure quality representation for Osun Central. The governor was represented by his Deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, while the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun and notable top government functionaries also attended. The Campaign Council is headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye.

At the event, Yeye Dupe Sanni restated the governor’s support for Aare Asejere and all the Accord Party’s candidates contesting legislative seats across Osun State’ the statement said.

The media office urged the people of Osun Central to ignore the Facebook post and sustain their support for Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa’s 2027 senate bid.

‘Once again, the good people of Osun Central should discard the lies of the opposition but keep supporting their choice, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, and the Accord as a party. We have all seen and known the difference between the Accord and other parties in the state, especially through the delivery of good governance by Governor Ademola Adeleke in the almost four years of his administration.

Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere remains the best, and he is the only eye of Governor Ademola Adeleke among the Osun Central senate candidates. We once again, promise that our candidate will not let his people down.
