Confirmation Hearing: Murtala Garo Gets Positive Nod From Kano Assembly

Mr Murtala Sule Garo, who was nominated as Deputy Governor by Governor Abba Yusuf and had his name sent to Kano State House of Assembly for confirmation hearing, got a positive nod from the parliament on Monday.

By this development, Governor Abba Yusuf has gotten the go-ahead to swear in Garo as the new Deputy Governor.

Recall that Kano State Deputy Governorship seat became vacant last month following the decision of Comrade Aminu Abdussalam to resign from his position.

Mr Murtala Sule Garo replaces Comrade Aminu Abdussalam.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Speaker Jibril Falgore presided over the plenary session held on Monday during which the parliament gave Garo a positive nod.
