Ebenezer Alaro: Osun PDP Bigwigs Using Diversionary Tactic-APC

Osun state APC has accused two PDP bigwigs in the state of using diversionary tactic to prevent the arrest and prosecution of one of them in connection with the killing of Ebenezer Alaro, who was until his death on Friday, a member of the party in Ilesha.
APC alleged that Alaro was killed in front of his father’s house by a notorious PDP thug called ‘Bongo’ alleging that this was done at the instance of one of the PDP bigwigs in question, who had complained that his campaign billboards and his father’s house were destroyed by some people.
APC added that one of the PDP bigwigs was also wrong to have raised allegations against some APC leaders that they have imported thugs into Ijesaland.
APC Acting state chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s Director of Media and Information Chief Kola Olabisi on Sunday said it was a pity that one of the said PDP bigwigs could resort to the use of conjecture and falsehood to drive his political point.
Lawal stated that the assertion made by the PDP chieftain that he had noticed importation of hoodlums into his community for some time now without reporting same to the police has made him culpable for playing a dirty politics with genuine peace in Ijesaland.
He described the allegation as frivolous and a fabrication that had only existed ‘in the imagination of the PDP elements and mulish devotees’.
The statement urged the PDP bigwig, who had raised this allegation, to mention the locations where the imaginary thugs are staying in order to protect his integrity.
‘How can an ultimatum of 72 hours of relocation be given to hoodlums by a political party leader who professes to be serious and acting in the interest of his people? The statement asked.
Noting that the people are now wiser
, the statement told the two PDP bigwigs in question not to expect any magic for their party in the forthcoming general election asserting that the people of Ijesaland would reject PDP because they were aware that it was the PDP elements in their midst that prevented the take-off of the Ilesa University project by politicizing it , hence their resort to violence and harassment of APC members.
The statement further noted that all these would not save the PDP from an impending debilitating election loss- Team@orientactualmags.com
