Edo NSCDC Commandant Dies After Delivering Goodwill Message At Event In Benin City
Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Edo State, Mr Agun Gbenga, is dead.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he died while attending an event in Benin City, the state capital, on Thursday.
The event organized by the International Association of World Peace Advocates was held at the Bishop Kelly Pastoral Centre, Benin City.
Mr Gbenga had reportedly delivered his goodwill message and returned to his seat but surprisingly collapsed and died while in the sitting position.
It was learned that efforts were made to resuscitate him at the venue ,and he was later rushed to the Military Hospital, Benin where he was declared a brought-in-dead patient.
Spokesperson for the NSCDC headquarters, Mr Afolabi Babawale also confirmed Mr Gbenga’s death on Thursday.
