Following the completion of the fasting period, former Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin, who is also a Kwara State PDP gubernatorial aspirant, Alhaji Ladi Hassan has sent a message of congratulations to Muslims in the State of Harmony and others across the world on the auspicious occasion of 1447 AH Eid-el-fitri.

Alhaji Ladi Hassan, who specially congratulated leaders and members of PDP in Kwara State who are Muslims, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the spirit of Ramadan which centres on fasting, reflection, and service to the less fortunate had reminded people of the obligations to help those impacted by poverty and conflict.

He congratulated Muslims on completing the month-long spiritual journey of fasting, self-reflection, and piety while however emphasizing the need for them to hold fast to the lessons of compassion, unity, and self-discipline, and continue to promote peace and understanding among ‘our diverse communities’.

Noting that ‘our Kwaran values and strength’ will continue to serve as a basis for us to stand in solidarity and protect one another, Alhaji Ladi Hassan emphasized the need for residents of Kwara State to be vigilant and be security conscious while urging continued prayers for peace and security amidst seemingly intractable insecurity in the country.

‘I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed and joyful celebration. Let us attach importance to Ramadan values and not abandon it after the completion of the fasting period.
