Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu has approved the constitution of a special committee to investigate the unfortunate deaths of two children at the General Hospital, Zuru.

Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, who disclosed this in a statement that was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday, noted that the committee is headed by the Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK with Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Sama’ila Augie and Commissioner for Establishment, Alhaji Manu Dogondaji as members while the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr. Zaki Abubakar Zaki will serve as Secretary.

‘The terms of reference of the committee are to investigate the remote and immediate probable causes of the deaths of the two children, who are from the same father; identify all those directly or indirectly connected with the incident sequel to allegations that they were victims of medical errors; apportion appropriate blame where necessary; and make recommendations to avert future occurrences.
