Emir Of Ilorin Endorses Abdulwaheed Onikahun’s New Book Ahead Of Public Presentation
20 days before its public presentation, the ‘Paradise At A Crossroads’, a book authored by Comrade Abdulwaheed Onikahun has received a ‘valuable endorsement’.
The declaration of support has come from the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari ,who is also the Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Council.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Mr Atere Habeebullahi noted that the highly revered monarch gave the endorsement during the visit of the Book Launch Planning Committee to his palace in Ilorin.
‘The author was joined by a distinguished and respected scholar, Imam Abubakar Aruwe Olosun and members of the committee; Bashir Lukman Olarewaju , Dr. Bello Abdulrasaq Agboola ( Dean of the Faculty of Science and Computing, University of Offa),Miss Gobir Zainab Jumai, and Comrade Abdulazeez Hussain Omotosho (a prominent public affairs analyst in Kwara State) .
The committee was warmly received at the palace and His Royal Highness expressed deep admiration for the book’s relevance and the courage behind its message.
‘Paradise at a Crossroads’ critically examines Nigeria’s socio-political journey, shedding light on historical patterns, present realities, and offering practical solutions that can guide the nation towards stability and progress.
In a significant show of support, the Emir not only endorsed the book, but also commended its scholarly and nationalistic value, and approved December 24, 2025, for its public presentation.
He urged Nigerians to engage in things and activities that inspire reflection, unity, and meaningful development.
The book launch event will take place at the NBA Hall, Lajorin Street, GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State. The event is expected to attract academics, public affairs analysts, cultural leaders, policymakers, and members of the public interested in Nigeria’s future.
