Factional Group Suspends Atiku, 2 Others From ADC…They’re Suffering From ‘Weed Hangover’-Babachir Lawal
A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State which is headed by Mr Raji Zumo has announced the suspension of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar from the party.
Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Babachir Lawal, and Mr Sadiq Ibrahim were also suspended from the party by the factional group.

Raji accused Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the two other party bigwigs of fostering disunity and disregarding a subsisting court order.
‘Let it be clearly stated, no individual, regardless of his status or influence, is above the law or the constitution of the African Democratic Congress, as long as he is a card-carrying member of the party.
Gentlemen of the press, African Democratic Congress is built on discipline, justice, and the supremacy of law.
In view of the foregoing and after executive consultation, the leadership of the ADC in Adamawa State hereby announces the immediate suspension of the following individuals from the party.
One, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa; Engineer David Baba Lawal, Vice Chairman, North East; Barrister Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin, Transition Committee Chairman.
Those individuals are suspended for their roles in fostering disunity, creating parallel structures, undermining lawful authority, and disregarding a subsisting court order.
This action is taken in the best interest of the party to restore order, protect its dignity, and reaffirm our commitment to democratic values’ he said.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Babachir Lawal has reacted to his purported suspension from the party while submitting that Mr Raji and others have ‘weed hangover’.
Mr Babachir, who is the ADC Vice Chairman, North East, said the head of the factional group spoke under the influence.
‘If some people take heavy Indian hemp, they can claim to be President of Nigeria, so, don’t consider them as normal people. Indian hemp is at work.
Raji’s actions demonstrated the power of Indian hemp against our young men. What is his position in the party in Adamawa State, if not under the influence?’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
