Former Osun SSG Kazeem Adio Turbanned As Kanzu al-Ginah In Iwo
Former Secretary to Osun State government, Alhaji Kazeem Ademola Adio was on Sunday turbaned as Kanzu al-Ginah by the Imams Ratibi and Islamic Scholars Association, Central Mosque, Iwo.
Top Islamic scholars and political figures attended the event held at Dove Excellent Event Center, Iwo while the former SSG was represented by a delegation led by Hon Asafa Babatunde Kamilu , who is the Chairman of APC ward chairmen, Iwo local government..

The Guest Lecturer, Sheikh Muhammed Soliu Ijaaba’lahi Afelele urged unity among Muslims while also emphasizing the need for them to shun divisive tactics and have a common platform to strive for unity.
Noting that men are equal in Islam regardless of their colour, language, race and nationality, he added that status, wealth, colour, language, rivalry have sadly created disunity among human beings.
Sheikh Muhammed Soliu Ijaaba’lahi Afelele,who also said it is a moral obligation for the well-to-do people in society to assist the poor, urged political office holders to improve quality of life for the citizens.
Some among attendees of the event told Team@orientactualmags.com that Alhaji Kazeem Adio getting recognized by such an important Islamic organization shows that he has a good track record and has maintained an ‘excellent’ relationship with his kinsmen despite not occupying any political office since he left government in 2010.
The chieftaincy title, they added, was also in recognition of Prince Kazeem Adio’s altruistic acts, his role in the propagation of Islam and service to humanity.
