Gov Adeleke Lacks Moral Right To Call For Senator Fadahunsi’s Arrest-Osun APC

Gov Adeleke Lacks Moral Right To Call For Senator Fadahunsi’s Arrest-Osun APC

Osun State APC has submitted that Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is the Accord Party guber candidate, lacks moral right to call for the arrest of Senator Francis Fadahunsi while saying what he is being criticized for is a doctored statement that was glaringly out of context.

The party in a statement made available Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Chief Kola Olabisi added that if Senator Fadahunsi  had actually said what they claimed he had said ‘it is natural for a sensitive leader and a responsible father to intuitively get emotional having lost about 35 of his constituents to the Accord Party hit squads within a spate of three months while the state governor has looked the other away’.

The statement also  said the declaration of support for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji’s candidacy  by  former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola; former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade; former Southwest National Vice Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo and others  has unsettled the governor.

‘The state chapter of Accord Party has been making a fuse over the out of context statement credited to the federal lawmaker that the APC members should ‘kill’ the members of the Accord Party.

In as much as we, as a party, do not support jungle justice for whatever reason but we are stating unequivocally that the accusation of the Accord Party functionaries in this regard was born out of the desperation of the players of the relatively unknown political party to act maliciously against the highly respected and peace-loving federal lawmaker under the guise of playing politics.

Based on an address of a press conference on the non-issue by the outgoing Governor Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday, it was crystal clear that the governor and his co-travellers are still nursing the pain of the defection of Senator Fadahunsi from the Peoples Democratic Party.

As if that wasn’t enough, the recent adoption of our governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO, by  former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola; former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade; former Southwest National Vice Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo who also at a time functioned as the State Commissioner for Finance under the Oyinlola admnistration, were parts of the reasons why the sinking governor is not sparing any object to bring down his real and perceived enemies.

The trio of Oyinlola, Akinbade, Oladipo are super active stakeholders of the PDP in Osun State who had removed the metaphorical carpet of the party that Adeleke had been banking on its use for its re-election bid under the Accord.

Based on the recently developed hostile actions and inactions of the visibly embattled Governor Adeleke, it is not a gainsaying to observe and conclude that desperation has crept into his political dictionary and the fear of his imminent loss of the Saturday’s governorship election is now dawning on him.

Governor Adeleke has a reason to have forgotten that his fans are missing his dancing steps as the prevailing political development in the state is causing him to be sweating profusely under an air conditioner.

The rattled Governor Adeleke should leave Senator Fadahunsi alone and stop acting on his quotation out of context and face the myriads of the socio-political and economic problems that his incompetence has attracted to the state.

If it is true that the electors are the utmost deciders of the winner of the Saturday’s governorship election, it is known to all and sundry in the state and beyond that the incumbent Governor Adeleke has lost out completely as all the variables that worked in his favour during the 2022 election are no longer in existence.

The adoption of Oyebamiji’s governorship candidacy by Senator Akinlabi Olasunkanmi, another chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, is another reason why the embattled Osun State governor has gone paranoid and ready to fight for the political battle of his life to attain his re-election bid which is facing imminent fiasco.

Assuming without conceding that Senator Fadahunsi made the statement mischievously attributed to him by the Accord Party rapscallions, it is natural for a sensitive leader and a responsible father to intuitively get emotional having lost about 35 of his constituents to the Accord Party hit squads within a spate of three months while the state governor has looked the other away.

It is worrisome why it has been pretty difficult for the self-acclaimed chief security officer of the state to condemn the ongoing extra-judicial killings of the innocent members and supporters of the APC in Ijesaland but strangely swift in making a political capital from Senator Fadahunsi’s statement being quoted out of context.

Do we need another evidence to observe and conclude that Osun State is a failed sub-national in all aspects under the inglorious Governor Adeleke administration as the cheapest item in the state is death?’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
