Gov Idris, Bagudu Pay Condolence Visit To Bala Family In Takalafiya
Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, and other top government officials have visited Takalafiya , Suru Local Government, to offer their condolences to the family of Alhaji Bako Bala.
Alhaji Bako Bala, who was the APC Chairman , Suru local government, died on Wednesday.
He breathed his last at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi where he was taken to after gunmen attacked him and his family at his residence.
Speaking on behalf of Governor Idris, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu prayed Allah to forgive the deceased politician, grant him Aljannah Firdaus, and give the family strength to bear the loss.
He described late Alhaji Bako Bala as a dedicated party leader who made significant contribution to the success of APC not only in Suru LGA but also in the entire state.
Responding on behalf of the bereaved family, the District Head of Bakuwai, Alhaji Tukur Yalli, expressed immense gratitude to Governor Nasir Idris, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu and the entire entourage for the condolence visit, saying ‘this is a demonstration of compassion and care for the people’.
Late Alhaji Bako Bala Takalifiya, aged 64, is survived by 3 wives and 14 children.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media noted that Idris gifted the family of the late politician N10 million during the condolence visit.
