Gov Oborevwori Congratulates Gov Alex Otti On His 59th Birthday…Felicitates Emmanuel Sideso On 16th Coronation Anniversary
Delta state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Sunday, congratulated his Abia state counterpart, Dr Alex Otti, on his 59th birthday.
Governor Oborevwori, in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon commended the Abia state governor for his audacious drive to reposition Aba as the commercial hub of the state.
The governor described Otti as an accomplished professional, an indefatigable administrator and a promise keeper, while commending him for his unrelenting patriotic service to the state and the nation at large.
He submitted that Otti’s drive to reposition Aba as the economic nerve centre of Abia state has restored the commercial city to its glorious status.
Governor Oborevwori also said it was heart-warming to note that the ex-banker turned politician had, by dint of hard work and discipline, won the hearts and earned the respect of Abians and other Nigerians.
‘Ever since you took office as the Governor of Abia, you have upheld the principles of good governance, which are based on the need to improve the standard of living of the populace and to maintain peace, security, and sustainable development within the state.
There is no doubt that your administration’s five-point agenda to address the challenges of economic and social transformation, public service reforms and internal security, has created a vibrant economy for citizens of your state.
On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I heartily congratulate an outstanding professional, a promise keeper and my brother governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, as he turns 59 today.
On this auspicious occasion, I celebrate with your family, associates and friends and thank Almighty God for your life which has been marked by amazing grace and remarkable accomplishments’ the statement said.
In separate statement, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has also congratulated the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Sideso Abe I, OON, on his 16th coronation anniversary.
Governor Oborevwori’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, and he has described the 16 years reign of the Uvwie monarch as ‘eventful and rewarding’
The governor applauded the revered monarch for making Uvwie kingdom tranquil and investor-friendly since he ascended the throne 16 years ago.
He noted that the monarch’s wisdom in handling the affairs of the kingdom had brought peace to it, and urged the people to continue to support the monarch in his transformational leadership in the kingdom.
He thanked the people of Uvwie for reposing confidence in the monarch as well as giving him the needed support and cooperation in the past 16 years.
‘King Sideso has been working diligently to keep the kingdom peaceful with the help of his Council of Chiefs and the youths, and I am grateful to our people for their support in helping him to restructure and position the kingdom to serve as Delta’s commercial hub.
