Ignore ‘Baseless’ Rumours, I’m Not Leaving ADC For APC-Senator Tambuwal

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal’s media office has dismissed viral social media claims alleging that the federal lawmaker, who is an ADC bigwig, is planning to leave the party for the ruling APC.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Tambuwal, who reacted to the issue via a press statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Prince Daniel, described the speculation as entirely false and baseless.

The clarification followed the circulation of various photographs and video clips showing the senator interacting with political figures across party lines.

The statement noted that such interactions reflect routine political civility and longstanding relationships rather than any hidden negotiation or plan to change party allegiance.

Senator Tambuwal noted that he remains firmly committed to the ADC and focused on strengthening the party, fostering broad cooperation, and mobilizing Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general election while submitting that he will not get distracted by such rumours..

‘At a time when Nigerians are demanding answers to pressing economic, security and governance challenges, public discussion deserves substance and truth. Unfounded speculation must not distract from the urgent task of offering Nigerians credible leadership and a better future’ he said.
