Ignore Fake News, Our Party Not Deregistered-Osun Accord Chairman
Osun State chapter of Accord Party on Thursday debunked media reports claiming that the party has been deregistered while calling this ‘silly fake news’.
In a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its state chairman, Pastor Victor Akande, the party described the media reports as untrue while asserting that it has fulfilled all legal requirements to operate as a political party in the country.
The statement added that the suit filed by the Attorney General of the Federation is part of ‘an orchestrated failed plot to disrupt the upcoming August 15, 2026 gubernatorial election in the state’.
‘The suit will fail as it has no legal basis and especially as the Accord has won several elections across many states in the country.
We urge the public especially residents of Osun State to remain calm. The Accord remains a legally recognized political party on which platform Governor Ademola Adeleke will be re-elected by God and the people’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
