Independence Day: Osun Rural Devt Commissioner Congratulates Nigerians, Urges Them To Keep Hope Alive

Nigerians celebrated the nation’s Independence Day on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Osun State, who is also the Chairman of Commissioners’ Forum in the state, Alhaji Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa aka Asejere, has congratulated them on the country’s 64th anniversary of independence while urging everyone to remain hopeful and resilient despite the current economic hardship.

In a statement he issued in Osogbo which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media aide, Com. Adigun Olaide , Asejere emphasized that though Nigeria currently faces significant economic challenges, the strength, determination, and spirit of the Nigerian people have always been the foundation upon which the country thrives. He acknowledged the difficulties many are enduring due to inflation, unemployment, and other economic hardships but however expressed confidence in the nation’s ability to rise above adversity.
He urged Nigerians not to lose faith in the nation’s potential and to keep hope alive, reminding them that sustainable progress requires patience, unity, and collective effort.
“As we celebrate our nation’s 64th anniversary of Independence, let us draw strength from our shared history, and continue to work together for a better Nigeria. With faith, hard work, and dedication, we will overcome these challenges and achieve the prosperity we all desire’ he said.
Asejerein also used the occasion to commend Nigerians for their resilience over the decades, urging citizens to maintain peace and unity as essential pillars for national development.
