I’ve Not Seen Any President With Better Plans Than President Tinubu In 40 Years-Former Gov Masari
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has submitted that in his over forty years in politics, he has not seen a president who has better plans to make Nigeria great like the incumbent president, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alhaji Masari, who said this at a public function in Kaduna, also noted that his assessment is based on his long experience in Nigerian politics.
He also urged Nigerians to look beyond the criticisms surrounding the current administration and support President Bola Tinubu.
Alhaji Masari, who was appointed as Deputy Director General, Parliamentary Mobilisation of the APC presidential campaign council last month, served as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007, and governor of Katsina State between 2015 and 2023.
‘I can confidently say I have never seen a president with better plans to make Nigeria great than Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I have simply never seen anyone like him’ he submitted in a video posted by HM Arewa, a Hausa media platform.
He also faulted claims that the Tinubu administration has achieved little arguing that previous administrations had faced similar criticisms including allegations of sectionalism and tribalism.
‘A short look at our history shows that in 1999, after Obasanjo finished his first four years, these same people came out with issues of sectionalism and tribalism.
They did the exact same thing to Goodluck Jonathan, and that is exactly what they are doing now. What surprises me about our people when they talk about religion is this, is religion exclusive to the Hausa, the Yoruba, or even the Igbo?’ he asked.
Alhaji Masari also said the divisive narratives being promoted by some people are aimed at pursuing personal interests urging Nigerians to resist attempts to exploit religious and ethnic sentiments for political purpose.
