John Tinniswood Dies 8 Months After Getting Officially Recognized As Oldest Man In The World

Mr. John Alfred Tinniswood, who was recognized as oldest man in the world by the Guinness World Records in April this year, has died at the ripe old age of 112.
He died on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Hollies Care Home in Southport, England, where he resided.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the Guinness World Records announced John’s death on its website on Tuesday.
‘Guinness World Records is saddened to learn that John Tinniswood, the world’s oldest man, has died at the age of 112.
He passed away yesterday (Monday, November 26) at the care home in Southport, England, where he resided.
His family told Guinness World Records in a statement that: ‘His last day was surrounded by music and love’ the statement said.
The deceased person’s family has also issued a statement to announce his passing.
‘We are saddened to inform you that John Alfred Tinniswood died peacefully on Monday (November 25) aged 112, at his care home in Southport. His last day was surrounded by music and love.
John always liked to say ‘thank you’. So, on his behalf, thank you to all those who cared for him over the years, including his carers at the Hollies Care Home, his GPs, district nurses, occupational therapists and other NHS staff. John’s life was one surrounded by love’ the family submitted.
Mr John Alfred Tinniswood, who was born on August 26, 1912, had a wife, Blodwen Tinniswood, and they had a daughter, Susan.
A strong supporter of Liverpool FC, he gained global recognition in April 2024 after getting officially recognized as oldest man in the world by the Guinness World Records.
He had succeeded Juan Vicente Pérez Mora who died at 114.
