Kogi Guber: Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Endorses Dino Melaye, Urges Support For Him
Ahead of the gubernatorial election scheduled to hold in Kogi state on November 11 ,2023, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan , has declared support for the PDP guber candidate , Dino Melaye while also urging her kinsmen to follow suit.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Natasha said this during the campaign rally held in Okene, the political headquarters of the Ebira nation, on Saturday.
‘Voting Senator Melaye as the next governor of Kogi state is the only way to guarantee the agenda of peace, freedom, development and social justice in Ebiraland and Kogi state in general. I’m strongly behind Senator Dino Melaye’s candidacy in line with the bigger agenda for Ebiraland which encompasses the ingredients of a better life for all our people’ she said.
‘Having been sworn in as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as an Ambassador of the Ebira nation, I will lead the Ebira nation to the path of freedom, peace, harmony and justice, and that path includes electing Senator Dino as the next governor of Kogi state’ she added.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan also thanked her kinsmen for supporting her whilst fighting to reclaim her mandate.
‘The mandate you freely gave to me. I will not disappoint you’ she said.
Melaye, who appreciated Akpoti-Uduaghan for declaring support for him, assured the people of Ebiraland that in conjunction with the senator ‘we will work for the progress of Ebiraland’.
Submitting that he has no ethnic agenda to pursue in the state, Melaye also promised that he will work assiduously in every way to stop percentage salaries, kidnapping, and corruption while also ensuring that Local Government administration is returned to the people at the grassroots, noting that there can be no meaningful development at the grassroots unless the people are allowed to be in charge of their affairs-Team@orientactualmags.com
