Kwara ADC Guber Candidate Mourns Passing Of Sheikh Mohammed Kamaldeen Abdulkadir

Kwara State ADC gubernatorial candidate, Hon Zakari Mohammed has mourned the passing of Sheikh Mohammed Kamal Deen Abdulkadir while also offering his condolences to the His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, the entire Ilorin Emirate and the people of Kwara State over the irreparable loss.

Hon Zakari Mohammed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com also praised late Sheikh Mohammed Kamal Deen Abdulkadir’s exemplary service to Allah and humanity while adding that he has left enduring legacies in Islamic education and community development.

‘Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.

It is with profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah that I received the news of the passing of Sheikh Mohammed Kamal Deen Abdulkadir, a renowned Islamic scholar, teacher, preacher, and one of the shining lights of Islam in Kwara State and beyond.

The death of Sheikh Kamal Deen is not only a loss to his immediate family but also to the entire Muslim Ummah, the people of Kwara State, and all those whose lives were touched by his wisdom, scholarship, humility, and unwavering devotion to service to Allah and humanity.

Throughout his life, the Sheikh dedicated himself to the propagation of Islam, the teaching of sound Islamic knowledge, the promotion of peaceful coexistence, and the moral upbringing of generations of Muslims. His sermons inspired faith, his counsel fostered unity, and his character reflected the virtues of patience, compassion, and piety. He lived a life replete with service, leaving enduring legacies in Islamic education and community development.

Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:

‘And give glad tidings to those who are patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return’ (Qur’an 2:155-156)

While we mourn his departure, we take solace in the fact that he spent his life in the service to his Creator and mankind. We pray that Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings, expands and illuminates his grave, and admits him into Jannatul Firdaus among the righteous servants.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, disciples, associates, and the entire Muslim community. May Allah grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

I equally convey my deepest sympathies to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Council, as well as the entire Ilorin Emirate and the people of Kwara State over the passing of this distinguished Islamic scholar whose life was devoted to faith, learning, and service to humanity.

May Allah reward Sheikh Mohammed Kamal Deen Abdulkadir abundantly for his noble deeds, preserve the legacies he left behind, and continue to raise worthy successors who will uphold the banner of knowledge, righteousness, and truth.
