Kwara: Magaji Ngeri PDP Ward Exco Suspends Ladi Hassan From Party…Cites Anti-Party Activities
PDP officials in Magaji Ngeri Ward, Ilorin West Local Government, Kwara State have announced Alhaji Hassan Ali Oladimeji’s suspension from the party citing anti-party activities and gross misconduct.
The party officials in the letter of suspension sent to Alhaji Ladi Hassan which was dated June 2, 2026, and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com accused the former Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin of engaging in acts that are contrary to the party’s constitution and code of conduct.
The Magaji Ngeri Ward PDP officials in the letter signed by the Chairman, Prince Aliyu Mohammed Kolawole, and the Secretary, Mr. Taofeek Jimba noted that the Ward Executive Committee had earlier issued a query dated May 30, 2026, detailing allegations of anti-party activities against Alhaji Ladi Hassan and directing him to appear before a seven-man disciplinary committee within 48 hours.
The PDP ward officials added that although Alhaji Ladi Hassan acknowledged receipt of the earlier correspondence but however allegedly failed to honour the invitation, an action, they noted, amounted to an admission of guilt.
‘As stated in the said letter, you were directed to appear before a seven-man committee set up by the Ward Executive Committee within 48 hours of receipt. Your failure to comply constitutes an admission of guilt of anti-party activities, acts of indiscipline, and gross misconduct’ the party officials submitted.
Citing Sections 57 and 59(1) of the party’s constitution, the Ward Executive Committee announced the decision to suspend Alhaji Hassan from the party for one month during which he is expected to stay away from party activities and functions, meetings, and programmes at the ward, local government, state, and national levels.
