KWASU Announces Death Of Governing Council Chairman, Says Funeral ‘ll Hold In Ilorin Today
Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has announced the death of Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali, Chairman of the Governing Council of the institution.
Ag. Director, University Relations, Professor Saeedat Aliyu in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Professor Ambali died in the early hours of today while adding that Islamic funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) will be held for him in Ilorin today at 4pm.
‘With submission to the will of Allah, Kwara State University, Malete announces the passing of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali, OON.
He died in the early hours of Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Islamic funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) will be held for him at An-Nur Islamic Schools, No 158, Shehu Shagari Housing Estate, Oloje, Ilorin, Kwara State at 4 pm.
We pray that Allah forgives all his sins, grants him Janatul Firdaus, strengthens and upholds the family and the KWASU community’ the statement added.
