KWSIEC Commends Kwara Assembly For Passing Bill To Amend LG Electoral Law, Promises To Kick-start Electoral Process Next Month

The Kwara state Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) has promised to take necessary steps towards conducting local government elections in the state while promising to kick-start electoral process next month, February 2024.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday by its Chairman, Alhaji Okanla Baba, the electoral commission commended the Kwara state House of Assembly for passing bill to amend the law governing the conduct of the local council polls in the state.
‘We are excited to receive the news of the passage of the amendments to the law. While the commission looks forward to the signing of the bill any moment from now, we will, in February, announce activities for the conduct of the local government elections.
