A native doctor and three others including a teenage girl have been arrested and taken into custody by the police for killing two siblings in the Ogbodo Pipeline area of Rukpokwu , Obio-Akpor Local Government, Rivers State.
One of the suspects, 27-year-old Aniekan Uko, allegedly tricked the children into a location, drugged and killed them. He later drained their blood.
A lawyer helping with the police investigation, Linda Ojims, said the children had left their church for home when Uko stopped them and took them to an uncompleted building.
Ojims said the suspect may have hypnotized the victims, making them to follow him willingly.
‘The children were coming back from church. So, along the line, the suspect, I don’t know whether he hypnotized them or not, took them to an uncompleted building. He then induced the drink he gave to them. The children slept off, he raped and murdered them’ Ojims said.
