Nurudeen Adeyemi Congratulates Gov Abdulrazaq On Getting Entrusted With National Assignments, Praises His Role In APC Stability
Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has congratulated the governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the series of strategic national responsibilities recently entrusted to him, describing the appointments as a clear reflection of his stabilizing influence and consensus-driven leadership within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Nigeria’s broader governance space.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media office on Tuesday, Engineer Adeyemi noted that Governor AbdulRazaq’s appointment as Vice Chairman of the Central Coordinating Committee for the 2026 APC National Convention underscores the confidence reposed in him by the leadership of the party adding that the aforementioned role is critical to ensuring cohesion, strategic coordination, and stability as the APC prepares for a major national convention ahead of the 2027 general election.
He further described the governor’s inclusion as a key member of the APC Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilisation, inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in December 2025, as a testament to his proven ability to manage internal party dynamics through dialogue, restraint, and inclusive engagement.
Engineer Adeyemi also congratulated Governor AbdulRazaq on his appointment as Chairman of the National Steering Committee for the Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme (RHWDP) by President Tinubu noting that it is a non-partisan, grassroots-driven initiative aimed at lifting millions out of poverty and supporting Nigeria’s aspiration of building a $1 trillion economy by 2030.
‘The programme adopts a bottom-up approach, empowering over 1,000 economically active individuals in each of Nigeria’s 8,809 wards by identifying and strengthening local economic potentials in agriculture, mining, and small-scale production’ he said.
According to Engineer Adeyemi, overseeing such a wide-ranging national intervention further highlights the governor’s capacity to align diverse stakeholders, manage competing interests, and sustain trust across political and regional divides.
He further referenced Governor AbdulRazaq’s leadership as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), noting that his calm and inclusive approach played a pivotal role in fostering national unity during the sensitive tax reform debates. Engineer Adeyemi added that the NGF under the governor’s chairmanship provided a critical platform for constructive engagement between the Federal Government and state governments, helping to ease tensions while advancing necessary fiscal reforms.
He added that these national assignments, taken together, are not isolated recognitions but a reflection of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s growing role as a bridge-builder in party politics and national governance.
