Nurudeen Adeyemi Mourns Passing Of Shawo Of Offa, Calls Him Dedicated Community Leader
Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has expressed sadness over the passing of High Chief Sikirullahi Kolawole Sanni, the Shawo of Offa, describing his death as a great loss to the traditional institutions and the entire Offa community.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com ,Engr. Adeyemi commiserated with the Olofa-in-Council, the royal family, and the people of Offa over the demise of the respected traditional leader, who passed away at the age of 68.
He described the late High Chief Sanni as a dedicated community leader whose life was marked by service, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to the development and unity of Offa.
According to him, the late Shawo made significant contributions to the preservation of Offa’s cultural heritage and the advancement of community development. He also highlighted High Chief Sanni’s role in the revitalization of Okin 105.7 FM, noting that his efforts had helped to strengthen the radio station’s position as a trusted source of information and a vital voice for the community.
Engr. Adeyemi said the deceased chief will be remembered for his selfless service, wise counsel, and enduring commitment to the progress of Offaland.
He also commiserated with Chief (Mrs.) Omobola Olagunju, the Iya Oba of Offa, and other members of the family, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
While urging the people of Offa to take solace in the fact that the late chief lived an impactful life and left an enduring legacy, Engr. Adeyemi also prayed for Allah’s mercy upon him and asked God to grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
