Osun APC Congratulates Ganduje, Basiru On Their Emergence As National Chairman, National Secretary

Osun state APC has congratulated the immediate past  governor of Kano state , Dr Abdullahi Ganduje and  former Senator Ajibola Basiru on their election as  National Chairman and National Secretary of the party respectively.

 Ganduje and Basiru were elected during the 12th National Executive Council (NEC)  meeting of the party in Abuja  on Thursday following the resignation of former  Senators Adamu Abdullahi and Iyiola Omisore as  National Chairman and National Secretary of the party respectively.

The state APC  chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi,  on Thursday called having Ganduje and Basiru as national chairman and national secretary ‘ a perfect combination’.

Lawal added that the seamless exercise that produced the two new national officers of the party ‘is an indication that internal democracy reigns supreme in the APC’.

The track records of both the new national chairman and the national secretary in both private and public offices are also according to him enough proofs of their abilities to excel in their new offices.

Lawal urged other political parties to learn from the APC National leadership on how to integrate and sustain internal democracy in their parties.

He also called  the educational and professional backgrounds of the new national officers  ‘a worthy asset for the diligent administration of the party’.

‘We are endowed with human resources in our party and that’s why the change of leadership at any point in time therein is always without schisms.

Therefore, at this stage in the life of our party, I will enjoin all the members of our party to pray ceaselessly for the continued wellbeing of our party in all aspects.

On behalf of the state executive officers of our party, the leaders and other members of the party, I am congratulating Dr Ganduje and Senator Basiru on their election as  National Chairman and National Secretary of our party respectively.
