Oyebamiji Says 2026 Osun Guber Election Has ‘Come And Gone’ But Urges All Hands On Deck Ahead Of 2027 General Election

Matters that have to do with the gubernatorial election held in Osun State on August 15, 2026, may have been brought to a close following the statements made on Saturday by Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, who was the APC governorship candidate in the election in question.

His speech at an event held in Osogbo on Saturday may have drawn the curtain on the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial election as he has not only accepted the outcome of the election but also congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election.

Team@orientactualmags.com reports that Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, who summarized what he said during the event in question in a Facebook post on Saturday, August 29, 2026, thanked everyone who stood by ‘our aspiration’ throughout the journey noting that their sacrifices, resilience, prayers and unwavering belief in the ‘Prosperity Agenda’ will remain indelible in his heart.

He urged all hands on deck ahead of the 2027 General Election while telling party members and supporters that what is currently the ‘common goal’ is the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ‘electoral success’ of ‘all our candidates in Osun State’.

‘Today, I addressed our leaders, members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State on the outcome of the August 15, 2026 governorship election and the road ahead.

I am deeply grateful to every one of you who stood by our aspiration throughout the journey. Your sacrifices, resilience, prayers and unwavering belief in our Prosperity Agenda will remain indelible in my heart. I equally appreciate our party leaders, particularly His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; our father and leader, His Excellency, Baba Bisi Akande, CFR; and my leader, mentor and boss, His Excellency, Dr Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, for their guidance, support and commitment to the progress of our party and our dear state.

While we accept the outcome of the election and congratulate the winner, we cannot forget the painful incidents of violence and the lives that were lost. I mourn every victim of political violence and stand in solidarity with their families. I call on the relevant security agencies to thoroughly investigate these incidents and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. No political contest should cost any Nigerian their life.

The 2026 governorship election has come and gone, but our commitment to Osun remains unwavering. Where there are legitimate concerns, we will continue to seek justice and fairness through lawful and constitutional means. I urge our supporters not to be discouraged. We must remain calm, united and resolute, while keeping faith in democracy and the institutions established to protect it.

As we now turn our attention to the 2027 general election, I call on every APC member and supporter to close ranks, strengthen our structures and rededicate ourselves to the task ahead. Our immediate responsibility is to mobilise for the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the success of all our candidates in Osun State.

Our journey continues. The Prosperity Agenda remains alive, and our dream of a greater Osun remains unwavering. With faith, unity and determination, we will continue to work for an Osun where opportunities are accessible to all, resources are equitably deployed and governance truly serves the people.

I thank you all for standing with me. May God bless the APC, bless Osun State and bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria’ he submitted-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
