Pastor Adeboye Reacts To AI-generated Image Showing Him As ‘Hajji

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has reacted to the viral AI-generated image showing him as a hajji.

Hajji refers to a person who has made a pilgrimage to Mecca while an AI-generated image refers to a digital image created by artificial intelligence algorithms instead of a human artist.

These images can be created in multiple ways, including using machine learning algorithms trained on existing images or using generative models that can create new images based on a set of inputs

The Church Times Nigeria  noted that Pastor Adeboye reacted to the AI-generated image during the first Holy Ghost Night of the New Year, held on Saturday, January 4.

Recall that an  AI-generated image showing Pastor Adeboye as a hajji had surfaced online in December last year.

‘I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an alhaji’ Pastor Adeboye submitted while lamenting the growing presence of mockers and predicting that many would not survive this year.

He however noted that God does not desire the death of sinners.

Factcheckhub had  reported that an X user, @Sarkideyforyou, posted an image of  Pastor Adeboye standing in Kaabah in Mecca.

The post, which was accompanied by the caption, ‘Pastor Adeboye, may Allah guide you to the right path’   earned significant attention, with over 3.8 million views, 1,500 reposts, 1,800 comments, and 4,000 likes as at December 22, 2024.

Pastor Adeboye urged prayers for peace in order to prevent another world war citing the ongoing global conflicts.

He also prophesied that 2025 would witness an unprecedented earthquake of massive proportions.

In his message, titled, ‘The Glory Ahead’ , Pastor Adeboye also noted that despite the current challenges, the future would be brighter.

He assured the congregation that God’s purpose for humanity on earth remains paramount, explaining that God isn’t in a hurry to take people to heaven because He needs them to fulfill His divine mission here on earth.

The popular pastor expressed confidence that Nigeria would soon experience peace after the church’s 100-day fast.

He however urged individuals above 70 to refrain from joining others to fast while advising those aged between 70 and 80 to break their fast at 3 p.m. and those over 80 at noon.

He assured the congregation that 2025 would be a pivotal year when the scripture, ‘The kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force’ will come to fruition.

He also urged those who will fast to avoid frivolous conversations throughout the fasting period while assuring that 2025 will bring a ‘stronger wind’ signifying significant breakthroughs, promotions, and long-awaited milestones, including weddings-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
