President Bola Tinubu Takes Oath Of Office In Abuja
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been sworn in as the sixth executive president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The inauguration ceremony is underway at the Eagle Square, Abuja. The new president was sworn into office by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola
The presidential oath of office is laid out in the Constitution.
Vice President Kashim Shettima was the first person to take the oath of office and he began to do this at exactly 10. 28 am while President Bola Tinubu had his turn at exactly 10.36 am, party supporters and members had responded to this by chanting ‘on your mandate we shall stand, On your mandate we shall stand bola’.

It will be recalled that Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) , Prof. Mahmood Yakubu had declared Asiwaju Bola Tinubu , who was the APC presidential candidate, winner of the 2023 Presidential Election in February.
