Social Investment Programme: Kogi Assembly Threatens To Order Arrest Of Aishat Omade

Kogi State House of Assembly on Tuesday threatened to order the arrest of the Director General of Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency, Aishat Omade.
This was sequel to her failure to appear before the Adhoc Standing Committee on Special Duties, Legislative Compliance, Government House Administration and Governor’s office, which is headed by the Majority Leader, Suleiman Abdulrazak.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Aisha was on April 30, 2025, ordered to appear before the committee on May 6, 2025.
She had been asked to come with documents requested by the standing committee and other documents (her educational credentials) which she had promised to provide during her confirmation hearing as state coordinator.
The legislature under Speaker Aliyu Yusuf’s leadership noted that it will not accept any act of insubordination or gross misconduct from any appointees of government.
‘Anywhere she is, let her come and appear before the honourable house tomorrow, 7th May, 2025.
Any appointee of government that was not elected by the people must follow and obey the directive of this house. Failure to do so will make us invoke the constitutional mandate of the parliament’ Speaker Aliyu warned-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
