Sule Lamido Says He’s Interested In Becoming PDP National Chairman
Ahead of the PDP National Convention, former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido says he is interested in becoming the National Chairman of the party while also restating his commitment to restoring ‘our dear party to its old glory’.
The 2025 Elective National Convention of the party is scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State between November 15 and 16, 2025.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alhaji Sule Lamido, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Monday, noted that he will be at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja to pick up his nomination form today.
‘By the grace of God, I shall today, Monday, 27th October 2025, by 11 a.m., be at Wadata Plaza, the national headquarters of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, to purchase the nomination form to run for the office of National Chairman.
My commitment to democracy and resolve to restore our dear party to its old glory is unstoppable’ he added.
Recall that northern PDP stakeholders had a few days ago announced Alhaji Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN) as consensus candidate
