Ubandoma Chieftaincy Title: Former Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed Congratulates Oba Sholagberu, Praises His Exemplary Service To Humanity
 Former governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has extended his warm congratulations to the Chief Imam of National Mosque, Abuja, Dr Abdulkadir Oba Sholagberu on his turbanning as first Ubandoma of Ilorin Emirate.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday , the former Kwara State governor described the turbanning ceremony presided over by Mai martaba, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari as historic while also noting that it is a well-deserved recognition of scholarship , piety, and decades of exemplary service to Islam and humanity.
According to him, Dr Sholagberu has distinguished himself as a bridge between faith, intellect and national service noting that his leadership at the National Mosque , Abuja  has projected the best values of Ilorin Emirate, moderation , learning, humility and communal harmony on a national stage.
‘Dr AbdulKadir Oba Sholagberu is a worthy ambassador of Ilorin Emirate and a shining example of what our traditional institutions stand for. His elevation as Ubandoma is not only an honour to him personally but also to the entire Ilorin Emirate whose sons and daughters continue to serve the nation with distinction’ he said.
The former Kwara State governor commended the Emir of Ilorin for sustaining the age-long tradition of honoring merit, learning and service describing the turbaning as a timely reinforcement of the moral and spiritual foundations of the Emirate.
