Veteran Journalist Olumide Lawal Turns 71 Today

Alhaji Olumide Lawal is another year older today, Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

The septuagenarian, a veteran journalist, a public relations consultant and a community leader turns 71 today.

Alhaji Olumide, an indigene of Ede, Osun state, is a man of many parts, who has successfully passed through the rudiments of dynamic realms of professional media practice in diversified ways.

He has carved a niche for himself, having passed through the professional crucibles and the fire of journalism unscathed and untainted.

A glowing personality of no mean repute and a gentleman with many accomplishments, Alhaji Olumide had also gotten recognized as a beacon of light to young and aspiring media practitioners.

  His vast experience and service to humanity, made him an accomplished man above board and beyond reproach.

Olumide Lawal served as Special Adviser, Media and Public Relations and Chairman, Directorate of Information, Public Relations and think tank under late Alhaji Isiaka Adeleke, who was the first civilian governor of Osun state.

Olumide Lawal was also the National Director of Publicity and Southwest Coordinator of Yarima Presidential Campaign Organization in 2006.

He also served as media consultant to Nigerian Sugar Company,  Bacita between 1995 and 2000.
