Woro Residents Who Have Been In Captivity Since Feb 3rd Reportedly Regain Freedom
Residents of Woro, Kaiama local government, Kwara State, who had been in captivity since February 3, 2026, have reportedly regained their freedom.
Recall that heavily armed bandits had on February 3, 2026, attacked Woro village, killing scores of people and taking over 176 women and children away.
The victims spent 183 days in captivity.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the news of their release was disclosed via a short statement posted on social media by a Kwara State APC bigwig, who is also the party’s Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa reps candidate, Dr Rafiu Ajakaye.
