APC Primaries: Gombe Gov Acknowledges ‘Rumbling Of Annoyance’ But Urges Party Unity, Cohesion
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has acknowledged existence of rumbling annoyance in the state APC following outcomes of the party’s primaries but however urged party unity and cohesion ahead of the 2027 general election.

Submitting that the party’s primaries had generated complaints and disagreements among members, such challenges, he noted, are however not unusual in a democratic process.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor, who said this while inaugurating the APC Reconciliation Committee in Gombe, also described the inauguration of the committee as a critical step towards strengthening unity within the party and ensuring that the APC goes into the 2027 elections as a cohesive and formidable political force.
‘I am confident that if we remain united, the APC will deliver one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Gombe State. We will also retain all 24 seats in the State House of Assembly and win the state’s three Senate seats as well as all the six seats in the House of Representatives.
We are all humans, and no one is perfect. Differences of opinion and grievances are inevitable, but what matters most is our willingness to come together, reconcile our differences and move forward as one family’ he said.
The governor urged members of the committee headed by the Deputy Governor, Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau to carry out their assignment with fairness, integrity and impartiality and ensure confidentiality of information they will receive from aggrieved party members.
